SAP FICO Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 7 to 11 years of consulting experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) with hands on experience in support projects and development work.

This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes and the ability to integrate SAP with third party systems.

Responsibilities

Configure enterprise structures and manage financial accounting processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting. Oversee integration with other SAP modules and third party systems, including IDOCs and bank interfaces.

Manage the Automatic Payment Program, Foreign Currency Valuation, and month end/year end closure activities. Conduct analysis, design, development, and testing of SAP FICO solutions. Coordinate with technical teams during the development of multiple objects and ensure timely delivery.

Execute functional and security testing for interface scenarios involving SAP and third party systems. Monitor background jobs and manage inbound and outbound IDOC interfaces. Document changes made to system settings and provide feedback to the Project Manager. Engage with users to gather requirements and provide training as needed.

Mandatory Skills

Strong knowledge of SAP FICO. Experience with third party interfaces and integrations, specifically IDOCs and bank interfaces.

Proficient in enterprise structure configuration. Familiarity with WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

Basic knowledge of ABAP Development for analysis purposes.

Preferred Skills Experience in the retail financial accounting domain. Knowledge of month end and year end closure processes. Experience in project accounting and travel & expense management. Ability to document processes and changes effectively. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant SAP certifications in FICO are a plus. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
