SAP - FICO Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• 4 - 8 years of experience in SAP S4 HANA FICO processes & activities. SAP Certified FICO consultant, strong Knowledge of FI business processes & Indirect taxation in India including GST, Good Knowledge & ability to understand indirect taxation in other countries such as Sweden, China, Mexico, Brazil, US etc., able to interact with Functional Heads, BU CFOs for finalizing on complex business requirements
• Able to finalize solution in SAP for complex Finance related business requirements, pro-actively involve in FI business solutioning in India as well as in aboard as per QCD & SLA
• Strong Knowledge of FI related configuration - Enterprise structure, Master data, Account Determination etc. Able to configure system for all Finance processes in India & Aboard, able to configure system to handle complex FI related business requirements by exploring available FI related functionalities in SAP along with combination of configuration from other SAP modules if the need be as per QCD & SLA, handle FI user community across TACO BUs in India & Abroad, mentor FI Junior Consultant
• Strong Knowledge of integration of FI module with all SAP modules irrespective of whether implemented in TACO, able to design & handle Integration test for all Finance processes in India & Aboard with clear understanding of impact of cross modular transactions in SAP, keeping in mind business requirements, able to handle System Integration Testing & Act as Lead for SIT during "Realization" phase of SAP E2E, Company Roll out, Plant roll out etc. in India as well as Aboard
• Strong knowledge of FI related transactions, transaction codes & ability to perform these transactions. Ability to guide FI community in TACO - India & Aboard quickly to execute transaction when needed, design various FI related processes by step by step transactions along with Test scripts for UT, SIT as well as any other business purpose in the areas of new products, technologies, new modules, special projects etc., able to guide FI Junior Consultant/ FI community to perform these transactions, UT, SIT, Special purpose testing such as Patch upgrades, Version upgrades, Integration with New modules, new products, new technologies etc.
• Strong Knowledge of FI related master data, transaction codes for master data, ability to perform these transactions, understanding of these masters & various fields in these masters, Work on quick fix mechanisms of master data maintenance to improve efficiency, Improve efficiency in FI master data related tasks, Accuracy of FI Master data, Automate FI master data related processes with required controls & validations as per QCD & SLA
• Minimum 4-5 years of Domain experience in Finance related areas, Strong demonstration of knowledge gained by working experience in Finance related areas to manage with efficiency & effectivity, Strong understanding of business processes & it's mapping in SAP
• Sound Knowledge of Implementation approach & methodologies, role of FI Consultant in E2E, Company roll outs & Plant roll outs etc., Able to work as well as guide Junior Consultant-FI to perform FI tasks related to E2E, Company roll outs & Plant roll outs etc., Complete FI related tasks such as Configuration, Master data, Process Mapping, testing etc. during E2E, Company roll outs & Plant roll outs etc.
• Sound knowledge of at least one more SAP module which is implemented across TACO BUs in India & / or Aboard, Able to work hand in hand with Other Module Consultant whenever required, Work with other module consultant to complete the task as per QCD & SLA & / or take up other module as additional responsibility to grow horizontally
• Good knowledge of Project Management processes, phases & methodology, Ability to demonstrate Project Management capabilities along with proper use of PM processes, phases & methodologies, Ability to handle projects independently with QCD
• Able to deal with Function Heads, CFOs & Other key people in an organization mainly for any FI module related issues/topics/requirements, Ability to emerge as One stop solution for all FI related requirements from all Finance related community across TACO BUs in India & Aboard, Ability to receive several customer appreciations for delivery, enhancements, efficiency improvements etc.
