Job Summary

The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet business requirements. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to map financial processes, configure SAP solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient integration with other SAP and non-SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

  • Perform configuration and customization of SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) and Knowledge/Expernce in SAP CO adds an advantage.
  • Lead or support end-to-end SAP implementation projects including requirement gathering, system design, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop functional specifications for RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

Support & Maintenance

  • Provide Level 2/3 production support for SAP FICO issues.
  • Troubleshoot system problems, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper integration with MM, SD, PP, HR, and other modules.

Business Process Improvement

  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements using SAP best practices.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist in financial data migration, validation, and reconciliation.

Documentation & Training

  • Prepare functional documentation, configuration guides, and test scripts.
  • Deliver end-user training and workshops.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with business teams, project managers, developers, and cross-functional SAP consultants.
  • Communicate system changes, impacts, and updates effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+

    years

    of experience in SAP FICO module configuration and support.

    but not ENDUSER SUPPORT.

  • Strong understanding of financial and management accounting processes.
  • Experience with S/4HANA (Finance, Universal Journal) is add an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with integration points (MM, SD, PP).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with strong leadership and facilitation abilities.
