SAP FICO Consultant - Asset Accounting

Role Overview: You will be joining AceNet Consulting as an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with expertise in Asset Accounting (FI-AA) to manage and optimize the end-to-end asset lifecycle in SAP. Your responsibilities will include configuring and supporting asset accounting processes, ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules, managing month-end and year-end activities, providing expertise in statutory compliance, and troubleshooting and resolving issues related to asset transactions and reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and support Asset Accounting (FI-AA) processes including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation calculation, transfer, retirement, and revaluation. - Implement New Asset Accounting in SAP S/4HANA with multiple ledgers and depreciation areas. - Ensure smooth integration of FI-AA with other SAP modules such as MM, PM, and CO. - Manage month-end and year-end activities related to fixed assets, including reconciliations and reporting. - Provide expertise in statutory compliance (IFRS, GAAP, and local reporting). - Partner with finance and audit teams to support internal and external audit requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset transactions and reporting. Qualification Required: - 5-7 years of relevant SAP FICO experience with a focus on Asset Accounting. - Strong understanding of depreciation keys, valuation areas, and parallel accounting. - Hands-on experience with New Asset Accounting in S/4HANA preferred. - Knowledge of financial compliance, reporting, and integration with MM/CO/PM. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
