SAP DevOps Engineer

As an experienced SAP DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of expertise in SAP development, automation, and cloud-based DevOps practices, your role at Helyxon will involve the following key responsibilities: - Act as a customer-facing consultant to understand client requirements and implement SAP DevOps processes. - Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to enhance deployment and automation workflows. - Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for SAP applications. - Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security for SAP landscapes. - Troubleshoot and optimize SAP infrastructure and integration using DevOps best practices. In terms of technical skills, you should be proficient in: - Programming Languages: ABAP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Python. - SAP Expertise: ABAP on HANA (Core Data Services), OData, Fiori, SAP Integration Architecture. - DevOps Tools: CI/CD, Version Control (Git), Cloud-based SAP solutions (preferred). Your industry knowledge should include experience in Retail / High-Tech domains. While SAP-related certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory. Soft skills such as excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role. The work environment at Helyxon is a hybrid model consisting of 60% remote work and 40% on-site work located in Chennai. Your key competencies should include a strong understanding of SAP Fiori Infrastructure setup, experience in SAP DevOps automation, and cloud technologies.
