SAP Data Lead - Implementation & Migration

As a highly skilled SAP Data Lead, you will be responsible for managing and driving data-centric initiatives across SAP implementation and migration projects. Your role will involve showcasing expertise in SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC), hands-on experience in enterprise data strategies, and advanced SQL capabilities. You must demonstrate cross-functional leadership, deep technical acumen, and the ability to effectively collaborate within globally distributed teams. You will lead SAP data workstreams throughout the project lifecycle, encompassing design, build, migration, and go-live phases. Collaborating with business units, functional consultants, and technical teams will be essential to define data requirements and ensure timely delivery while aligning data-related deliverables with project milestones to avoid any impact on timeline or scope due to data readiness gaps. Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across business and IT to facilitate decisions around data architecture, governance, and quality assurance will be a key aspect of your role. Your expertise as a data subject matter expert for SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) will involve designing and maintaining robust data models aligned with manufacturing operations, integrating DMC seamlessly with MES and ERP systems, addressing DMC data synchronization challenges, and conducting root cause analysis with proactive remediation. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and executing data migration strategies for master and transactional data using tools like SAP BODS, LSMW, and LTMC, performing detailed data profiling, cleansing, and validation, building automated data quality and reconciliation frameworks, and establishing data governance policies. Utilizing advanced SQL and analytics skills, you will extensively work on large-scale data extraction, transformation, validation, and auditing activities. Building complex SQL queries, reusable scripts, and data views for internal consumption and reporting, analyzing datasets to identify anomalies, trends, and quality issues, and translating findings into actionable insights will be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 8+ years of experience in SAP data roles with a recent focus on SAP DMC projects. Proficiency in SAP DMC, SAP S/4HANA or ECC integration, familiarity with manufacturing data flows and master data objects, and a strong understanding of plant, material, routing, and production-related data are essential. Experience with data tools such as SAP BODS, LSMW, LTMC, SQL (MySQL, SQL Server, HANA SQL preferred), and project delivery methodologies like Agile/Scrum and Waterfall are required. Strong communication skills, the ability to work with diverse teams across geographies and time zones, and excellent documentation and presentation skills are crucial for this role. Preferred qualifications include SAP DMC Certification, SAP Certified Application Associate Data Migration or Master Data, and SQL/Data Analytics certifications.,
