This role ensures customers can customize products based on specific needs within the sales process. Key responsibilities include designing product models, defining characteristics, managing configuration profiles, integrating with SAP modules, and ensuring accurate pricing calculations. Key Responsibilities: Product Configuration & Pricing: Design and implement complex product models within SAP VCPS. Define characteristics, dependencies, and configuration profiles to ensure accurate product customization. Establish dependency nets, selection conditions, and rules for product configuration. Maintain pricing conditions and ensure integration with product options for accurate calculations. Integration with Other SAP Modules: Coordinate with Sales, Materials Management, and Production Planning teams for seamless data flow. Ensure smooth integration between SAP VCPS and other SAP modules to enhance business processes. Data Maintenance & Master Data Management: Manage master data related to variant configuration, including characteristics, values, and configuration profiles . Ensure accurate and up-to-date data to facilitate smooth product configuration. User Interface & Experience: Design user-friendly interfaces for sales teams to configure and customize products efficiently. Develop interactive and intuitive workflows for better usability. Configuration Logic & Validation: Set up and maintain logic constraints, selection conditions, and dependencies to validate product configurations. Ensure that customers can only configure valid product options based on defined rules. Preferred Candidate Profile: Strong understanding of SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing (VCPS, CPS) concepts. Hands-on experience in SAP CPQ and SAP Commerce integration is a plus. Ability to work in a hybrid work environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in custom development for CPS Simulation is an advantage.

Design, develop and maintain best-practice, scalable and efficient CPQ models that meet global and local business requirements Progressive maintenance of document proposals based on specifications Design and conduct testing scenarios Working with business users to understand business requirement and then translate those requirements or high-level user stories into detailed user stories / technical issues for model development or CPQ parametrization Provide assistance to CPQ users by answering questions, resolving technical problems escalating issues that cannot be solved to other departments or the CPQ vendor Communicate relevant changes on models, templates or new enhancements to CPQ users Make recommendations based on own findings or user feedback regarding the implementation of new CPQ initiatives and platform enhancements Responsible for maintaining the CPQ models from development through the entire lifecycle. Responsible for managing change control of the CPQ models and executing updates in a timely manner Responsible for working with other IT experts to integrate CPQ models using the CPI platform with other systems as needed. Other systems include but limited to SAP ECC, Salesforce, PriceFx, Vertex etc. Prepare documentation and provide user training. Bachelors Degree in IT or Engineering required with 5 years of experience in developing and implementing SAP VC models using SAP CPQ. 2+ years of experience as Product or Configurator Manager in industrial companies using SAP CPQ Good understanding of sales business processes Proficiency in Salesforce Sales and eCommerce platform desired
