Role Overview: Valmont is modernizing its systems, and SAP CPQ implementation is a key pillar of this transformational journey. As an SAP CPQ Analyst at Valmont, you will play a crucial role in configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP CPQ systems and programs to enable the businesses to perform at the highest level. This individual contributor position offers significant growth opportunities and requires a strong background in software development and programming. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in Iron Python with a focus on Iron Python scripts for customized functionalities, product triggers, and container triggers. - Proficiency in SQL/MYSQL, Knockout JS/HTML & CSS for custom UI development, including Responsive Templates and Branding. - Handling API integration with different systems and simulating web service requests using tools like Soap UI/Postman. - Working on Workflow, Pricing, Global Scripts, Global Actions, Approval Management, and User Management. - In-depth knowledge of CPQ Rules, CTX tags, Data tags, and experience with SAP CPQ 2.0 Release. - Performance tuning of CPQ for business needs and expertise in business application design, development, and implementation. - Prepare Design Doc, facilitate workshop sessions, and provide technical support/troubleshooting. - Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, and the ability to comprehend new technology quickly. - Excellent planning, organizational skills, and transforming requirements into high-functioning technology solutions. - Integrate SAP CPQ to ERP, CRM, and PLM Business Suites, build and test high-quality code, and perform debugging when necessary. Qualifications Required: - Preferred Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Associates Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 7+ years of relevant experience. - 3+ years of professional programming experience in Microsoft .NET technologies and Iron Python. - Proficiency in SAP CPQ customization, iron python scripting, REST API design, and object-oriented development methodology.
