Must-Have:

The SAP BPC Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation solutions using SAP BPC. This role requires strong expertise in Standard (Classic) and Embedded models, integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA, and advanced knowledge of financial planning and consolidation processes. The consultant will work closely with finance and IT teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Core SAP BPC Expertise

• SAP BPC 10.x (Classic & Embedded models)
• Script Logic, Business Rules, Data Manager Packages
• EPM Add-in / Analysis for Office reporting

Integration & SAP Landscape

• SAP BW/4HANA and S/4HANA Finance integration
• SAP ECC knowledge (FI/CO modules)
• Data migration and validation techniques

Performance Management Tools

• HANA SQL and reporting tools

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

1. Lead end-to-end SAP BPC projects and team for planning, forecasting, and consolidation.
2. Configure BPC environments (Standard/Embedded), including dimensions, models, and script logic.
3. Develop BPC objects: reports, input templates, script logic, and data manager packages.
4. Design and build reports using EPM Add-in or Analysis for Office.
5. Manage master data, data loads, validations, and consolidation business rules.
6. Ensure seamless integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA, BW/4HANA, and non-SAP data sources.
7. Support financial close processes, intercompany eliminations, and audit trails.
8. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.
9. Maintain documentation for system processes and configurations.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve BPC system issues promptly.
11. Guide performance tuning, upgrades, and change management.
12. Close collaboration with Business Teams in achieving timely forecasting and planning cycles closed (monthly, quarterly and yearly)
13. Continuously keep up to date with new SAP technology offering in BPC space and conduct PoCs and Demonstrate use cases to deliver value
14. Work closely with end Business users to understand requirements and deliver solutions relevant for their needs
