Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for an SAP CALM SME at ComTek Solutions, based in Hyderabad, with some work-from-home flexibility. The SAP CALM SME will be responsible for consulting in SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) for designing, implementing, and optimizing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions, with a specific focus on cloud-centric SAP landscapes. This role demands deep technical and functional expertise in CALM's capabilities, combined with the strategic vision of an architect and the hands-on skills of a senior consultant. This could also envisage reports and conducting current health study.

Skills and experience:

• ALM strategy and roadmap:

  Define and execute the strategy for leveraging SAP CALM, including migrating from SAP Solution Manager and aligning with the company's SAP RISE strategy.

• Expert implementation:

  Lead the implementation and configuration of CALM for various use cases, including project management, operations, and continuous monitoring.

• System integration:

  Design and oversee the integration of SAP CALM with SAP S/4HANA (both public and private cloud editions), SAP BTP, and other SAP SaaS solutions like SuccessFactors and Ariba.

• Business process optimization:

  Analyze business processes and operational requirements to configure CALM's monitoring, alerting, and automation features, enhancing business continuity and efficiency.

• Test and change management:

  Architect and govern the change, release, and test management processes within CALM, ensuring end-to-end traceability and quality.

• Technical leadership:

  Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to project teams, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and follow best practices.

• Stakeholder collaboration:

  Work closely with technical, functional, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure clear communication.

• Analytics and reporting:

  Provide strategic analytics and transparent reporting on solution health, project progress, and process efficiency to support data-driven decision-making.

• Knowledge transfer and mentorship:

  Develop best practices, standard operating procedures, and training materials. Mentor junior consultants and enable internal teams on CALM best practice

• Cloud platform knowledge:

  Expertise in cloud platforms like SAP BTP and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure) and a strong understanding of hybrid landscape architectures.

• SAP ecosystem familiarity:

  Excellent knowledge of related SAP solutions, particularly SAP S/4HANA (cloud and on-premise) and key SAP SaaS products.

• ITSM and DevOps integration:

  Familiarity with integrating CALM into a broader IT Service Management landscape (e.g., ServiceNow) and a good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Experience and certification

• Experience:

  Typically requires 5+ years of overall SAP experience, with significant hands-on experience specifically in SAP Cloud ALM.

• Certifications:

  SAP certifications related to Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, or other relevant SAP technologies are highly preferred
