Job Description

As an SAP BODS, Data Integration Specialist at UST, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining ETL processes using SAP Data Services for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and executing data replication strategies to extract data from SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle) and load it into AWS cloud applications. - Leveraging different Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms, particularly source-based and target-based CDC, to ensure efficient and accurate data replication. - Collaborating with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Monitoring and troubleshooting ETL jobs to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Optimizing and tuning ETL processes for performance and scalability. - Documenting ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8 to 15 years of experience in SAP BODS and data integration. - Proficiency in developing ETL processes using SAP Data Services. - Experience in designing data replication strategies and working with CDC mechanisms. - Strong collaboration skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Knowledge of optimizing ETL processes for performance and scalability. - Excellent documentation skills. - Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in data integration and ETL development.
