Job Description

Role Overview: As a SAP BODS Data Integration Specialist at UST, your main responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes using SAP Data Services for data extraction, transformation, and loading. You will be based in any of the UST locations such as Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Noida, Kochi, or Trivandrum, and we are looking for candidates who can join us quickly. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute data replication strategies to extract data from SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle) and load it into AWS cloud applications. - Utilize different Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms, particularly source-based and target-based CDC, to ensure efficient and accurate data replication. - Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance and scalability. - Document ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data integration and ETL development. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 8 to 15 years of experience in SAP BODS and data integration. - Proficiency in SAP Data Services, ETL processes, and data replication strategies. - Strong understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize ETL processes for performance improvement.
