Job Description

Junior SAP Basis Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in SAP system monitoring and performance tuning (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI, etc.)
Support routine tasks such as client copy, user administration, transport management, and system health checks.
Assist with kernel upgrades, patch applications, and SAP notes implementation.
Work on system refreshes, backup and restore operations.
Help with troubleshooting SAP and OS level issues.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support system issues and enhancements.
Document SAP Basis procedures and maintain system operation manuals.
Follow ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management).
Learn and support SAP HANA database administration as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in SAP Basis or equivalent technical support role (internships count).
Basic understanding of SAP architecture and components.
Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows).
Basic knowledge of database systems (HANA, Oracle, MS SQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced SAP environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
