Job Description

As an SAP Basis Consultant at our company, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will have at least 2 years of experience in SAP Basis. Your main tasks will include monitoring and maintaining SAP system environments such as Sandbox, Development, QA, Production, and DR. You will be in charge of installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools. Performing core Basis functions like System Refresh, support packs, kernels, transports, and DR drills will be part of your routine. Researching and implementing solutions for Basis functionality in performance monitoring, tuning, and systems configuration using the SAP Best Practice will also be a key aspect of your role. Experience in system refreshes and restores of dual (ABAP+JAVA) and single stack systems, working experiences in the business suite of SAP, SAP HANA, installing, configuring, and supporting Solution Manager, as well as experience in Upgrades, OS/DB Migrations, and Cloud will be advantageous. You should also be familiar with working with global delivery models, including offshore, multi-cultural teams, functional teams, and other stakeholders. Being willing to work in a 24x7 support environment is a requirement for this role. You will create requirement specifications from business needs, define to-be-processes, and detailed functional designs based on requirements. Supporting configuring solution requirements on the products, understanding any issues, diagnosing the root cause, seeking clarifications, and identifying solution alternatives will be part of your responsibilities. You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality value-adding solutions to customers. Your ability to work with clients to identify business challenges, contribute to client deliverables, refine, analyze, and structure relevant data, along with awareness of the latest technologies and trends, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, collaboration ability, and industry domain knowledge will be crucial in this role. SAP Certification will be an added advantage.,
