Roles and Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain various SAP products across development, quality, and production environments.
• Implement database management techniques including table partitioning, compression, and SQL performance optimization.
• Perform OS/DB migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and complete post-migration validation.
• Participate in the planning and execution of SAP upgrades and patch management strategies.
• Conduct SAP system refresh activities to maintain consistent and up-to-date system landscapes.
• Manage Change and Transport System (CTS) to ensure the integrity and synchronization of SAP environments.
• Apply SAP support packs and perform kernel upgrades across all relevant systems.
• Utilize backup and recovery tools to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Monitor and distribute SAP user workload; manage and optimize background job scheduling and performance.
• Maintain SAP system performance by developing and executing SAP tuning strategies.
• Conduct regular health checks on all SAP systems and take proactive measures to prevent system issues.
• Perform SAP client administration tasks including client creation, copying, and deletion based on project or operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation for all SAP instances to support operational transparency and audits.

Experience Requirements:

• 7-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance of SAP landscapes.
• Successfully performed multiple SAP system refreshes and OS/DB migrations in large-scale environments.
• Experience applying support packs, kernel upgrades, and managing CTS with a proven track record of maintaining system integrity.
• Skilled in performance tuning techniques for SAP applications and database layers.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct health checks and implement proactive monitoring tools and strategies.
• Familiar with working in high-availability environments and providing support for critical business applications.
• Proficient in managing user workloads and background jobs, with experience optimizing resource allocation across SAP systems.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery tools such as BRTools, third-party backup software, or database-native solutions.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
