SAP Accountant

As an Accountant Finalization with knowledge of SAP in Ahmedabad, your role involves various key responsibilities: - **Ledger Scrutiny**: - Conduct detailed scrutiny of ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Identify discrepancies, variances, and irregularities in financial records, and take corrective actions as necessary. - **Account Finalization**: - Prepare and finalize accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports. - Ensure all financial statements comply with legal requirements and company policies. - Collaborate with auditors for the timely completion of annual audits. - **Financial Reporting**: - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Support management in budgeting and forecasting processes. - **Taxation & Compliance**: - Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and timely filing of returns. - Maintain accurate records for tax purposes and liaise with tax authorities when necessary. - **General Accounting**: - Manage and reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation. - **Process Improvement**: - Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency. - Stay updated with industry trends and accounting standards to ensure best practices. The qualification required for this role includes a Bcom/Mcom/CA Inter/CMA Inter degree with 2-4 years of experience. Knowledge of SAP is mandatory for this position.
