SAP ABAP Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the

  technical architecture and design

  for SAP ABAP developments across multiple modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HR, etc.).
• Lead

  solution design workshops

  with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
• Define

  best practices, coding standards, and development guidelines

  for ABAP and related technologies.
• Provide

  technical leadership

  in SAP S/4HANA projects (Custom CDS Views, AMDP, ABAP on HANA optimization, Fiori/UI5 integration).
• Review functional specifications and translate them into high-quality

  technical designs and developments

  .
• Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and maintainability of solutions.
• Support integration with

  non-SAP systems

  (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, APIs).
• Guide and mentor offshore/onshore development teams.
• Drive

  code reviews, quality assurance, and troubleshooting

  .
• Collaborate with Basis, Security, and Functional teams for seamless solution delivery.
• Provide

  pre-sales support

  for proposals, RFPs, and solution presentations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12+ years of SAP technical experience

  with strong focus on

  ABAP, ABAP on HANA, and S/4HANA extensions

  .
• Proven expertise in

  OO ABAP, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF objects)

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  ABAP on HANA features

  CDS Views, AMDP, Core Data Services, OData services.
• Experience with

  Fiori/UI5 development and integration

  with ABAP back-end.
• Hands-on expertise in

  workflow, ALE/IDoc, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Enhancements

  .
• Deep understanding of

  integration points across SAP modules

  .
• Strong experience in

  performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting

  .
• Familiarity with

  DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development tools

  .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• SAP certification in

  ABAP on HANA / S/4HANA Extensions

  .
• Exposure to

  SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)

  , CAP, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Experience in

  Cloud Integration (CPI)

  and

  SAP API Management

  .
• Pre-sales, solutioning, and architectural governance experience.
