SAP ABAP Ricef Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to become a valuable part of our dynamic team. The perfect candidate for this position should possess 7 to 11 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with specialized knowledge in WRICEF, object-oriented design patterns, and SAP integration technologies. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality SAP software solutions, resolving production issues, and collaborating with various teams to deliver business value. Your key responsibilities will involve analyzing business requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams and crafting software solutions for SAP applications. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of SAP application development, from development and testing to maintenance and troubleshooting in production environments. You will also be tasked with conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to SAP coding best practices and high-quality standards and performing unit testing using ABAP Unit for solution validation. Additionally, you will design and implement RICEFW solutions based on specified requirements, constantly enhancing development processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Staying updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices within the SAP landscape will be crucial, as well as participating in Sprint and PI planning sessions to ensure timely delivery of solutions in collaboration with product teams. The mandatory skills and qualifications for this role include 7 to 11 years of practical experience in SAP ABAP WRICEF developments, a strong grasp of SAP Integration Patterns, expertise in SAP Gateway, OData Services, and Core Data Services (CDS), comprehensive knowledge of NetWeaver and Web Dynpro ABAP, proficiency in ABAP CDS and AMDPs, experience in unit testing using ABAP Unit, a solid understanding of object-oriented ABAP design patterns and development best practices, the ability to conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, experience in solution design and requirements gathering for RICEFW objects, proven skills in troubleshooting and resolving production incidents effectively, and familiarity with SAP coding best practices, particularly for S/4HANA to ensure security and performance.
