Key Responsibilities Manage and Optimize Data Flows Ensure efficient, real-time data integration across SAP and cloud systems, supporting optimized reporting pipelines. SAP Datasphere Administration Lead space management within SAP Datasphere, including configuration of Connections, Data Builder, Business Builder, and Analytic Models. Integration and Pipeline Development Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, ABAP CDS Views, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, and other data platforms. ETL/ELT Development Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes ensuring accurate data migration, governance, and policy compliance. Data Modeling Design and optimize scalable, high-performance data models for both batch and streaming workloads across structured and unstructured data sources. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Enablement Implement SAC live connections, build and optimize dashboards, and enhance performance for large-scale analytics. Reporting & Visualization Utilize SAP SAC, Power BI, and Analysis for Office to deliver actionable business insights. AI/ML Integration Collaborate with data scientists to embed predictive analytics and AI/ML models into enterprise reporting workflows. Data Virtualization Strategy Design and implement data virtualization solutions to reduce physical data movement and simplify architecture, improving scalability and cost-efficiency. Data Security & Governance Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all layers of the data pipeline, adhering to enterprise standards. Advanced Data Transformation Leverage programming tools such as Python , Java , Apache Spark , and SQL for complex data integration and transformation workflows. Qualifications Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in SAP data engineering roles. Strong expertise in SAP Datasphere , SAP S/4HANA , SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) . Hands-on experience with data replication vs. virtualization strategies . Familiarity with Snowflake , Azure Data Lake , and other modern data platforms. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages: Python, Java, Spark, SQL . Experience with data governance , security , and compliance frameworks . Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ABAP CDS Views and SAP BW/4HANA. Certification in SAP Datasphere or SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
