Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, enhancements, and interfaces in an S/4HANA environment. - Develop and optimize objects using CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and OData Services. - Work on custom developments related to standard SAP S/4HANA modules like SD, MM, FI, PP, WM, and others. - Enhance existing SAP applications using User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots, and custom reports. - Build and consume Fiori/UI5 applications where necessary using OData. - Perform code optimization and performance tuning for S/4HANA based developments (pushdown approach). - Collaborate with functional consultants and business users for requirement gathering, solution design, and issue resolution. - Debug and troubleshoot issues in S/4HANA systems and provide technical support for production incidents. - Prepare technical specifications (TSD), unit test documents, and ensure SAP best practices are followed. Required Skills : - Minimum 6+ years of SAP ABAP development experience. - Strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA environments. - Expertise in Core ABAP : Reports (ALV, Interactive), Enhancements, BAPIs, BDCs, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Function Modules. - Deep experience in S/4HANA technologies : 1. CDS Views (Core Data Services). 2. AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures). 3. OData Services development and consumption. - Good exposure to Fiori/UI5 app integration (at least consuming OData). - Strong understanding of HANA database architecture, pushdown techniques, and performance tuning strategies. - Proficient in handling IDoc/ALE/Proxy interfaces. - Sound knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary Objects, performance optimization tools like ST05, SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum project environments.
