SAP ABAP DEVELOPER

Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience in ABAP programming and will be responsible for developing and enhancing SAP applications to meet the needs of our business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces according to business requirements.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of existing ABAP code to ensure system functionality and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure code quality and best practices are followed.
• Support system upgrades and migrations by ensuring that custom developments are compatible with new versions of SAP.
• Document technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals for developed solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and development tools.
• Proficiency in developing ALV reports, smart forms, and SAP scripts.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented ABAP programming.
• Understanding of SAP data dictionary, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancements.
• Experience with performance tuning of ABAP programs and database optimization.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
