SAP ABAP consultant

You are a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with experience in Fiori/UI5 full stack development. You will be joining a team that supports a prestigious US-based pharmaceutical client. This role is suitable for developers who thrive in a fast-paced, regulated domain and are exposed to complex global projects. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and enhancing custom SAP ABAP applications. You will also be developing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using OData and SAP Gateway. Working on Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF) is an integral part of your role. Additionally, you will debug and resolve performance issues and bugs in custom objects. Collaboration with functional consultants and end-users to gather requirements is essential. You will also be developing technical specifications and test scripts while ensuring compliance with GxP, FDA, and pharmaceutical validation standards. To excel in this role, you are required to have 8-10 years of SAP ABAP development experience and a minimum of 2-3 years of SAP Fiori/UI5 development experience. Strong skills in OO ABAP, Enhancement Framework, and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms are necessary. Experience with OData services, REST APIs, and SAP Gateway is crucial. An understanding of integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, and QM modules is expected. Familiarity with transport management, performance tuning, and code optimization is also required. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must. Experience in the pharma domain or FDA-regulated environment will be considered a plus.
