SAP ABAP Consultant (BRF+)

Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant FI Integration & BRF+ Enhancements

Location: Hyderabad

Duration: FTE

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in FI module integration and BRF+ enhancements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting ABAP solutions with a focus on Financial Accounting processes, BRF+ framework, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements for the FI module.

Design and implement BRF+ enhancements to meet business and compliance requirements.

Support FI integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, etc.) ensuring seamless end-to-end business processes.

Work on User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, IDocs, RFCs, and ABAP Proxy developments.

Develop and optimize interfaces for financial postings, validations, and substitutions.

Collaborate with functional consultants (FI/CO, MM, SD) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in FI-related custom developments and BRF+ rules.

Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.

Provide technical documentation, testing support, and end-user assistance.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant.

Strong experience in FI module integration (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Banking).

Hands-on expertise in BRF+ framework for business rules, decision tables, validations, and workflows.

Proven experience in enhancements and custom developments for FI processes (Validations, Substitutions, Payment programs, Interfaces).

Strong technical knowledge of ABAP Objects, ALV, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework.

Experience in IDocs, ALE, RFCs, Web services, and OData services integration.

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA ABAP on HANA (preferred).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development.

Experience with migration tools (LTMC, LSMW) and data conversion in FI.

Familiarity with Solution Manager/ChaRM for change management.
