Job Title: Salesforce Testing or Salesforce Tester Position: Software Engineer (SE) / Senior Software Engineer (SSE) Experience: 4 years to 6 Years Category: zINACTIVE - Information Technology Main location: Bangalore/Hyderabad Position ID: J0725-0648 Employment Type: Full Time Job Description: - Salesforce Testing or Salesforce Tester Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce Tester with 4–5 years of experience in end-to-end testing of Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and a strong understanding of DevOps practices, API integrations, and test automation. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables across multiple Salesforce platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce platforms (Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Cloud).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for Salesforce applications and customizations.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure full coverage.
• Validate data integrations between Salesforce and external/internal systems via APIs or middleware.
• Use tools like JIRA for defect tracking and Confluence for documentation and test artifacts.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes within Salesforce DevOps environments.
• Report and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to and maintain test documentation, including traceability matrices and test summary reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce testing (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and configuration.
• Experience with JIRA (defect tracking and test management) and Confluence (documentation).
• Knowledge of integration testing, including REST/SOAP APIs and data validation.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools and processes (e.g., Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT – good to know).
• Exposure to or experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar, or TOSCA is a plus).
• Ability to write SOQL queries for test data validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automation tools specific to Salesforce (e.g., Provar, TOSCA, or Selenium with Salesforce).
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist).
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.

Education: -

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
