Responsibilities and Impact:
As an SDET III, you will drive the overall quality strategy, automation roadmap, and testing excellence across Web, API, and Services platforms. You will lead a team of SDETs to design scalable testing solutions, establish best practices, and integrate intelligent automation techniquesincluding Generative AI—to accelerate product delivery without compromising quality. You will work with a diverse set of technologies and collaborate with various internal teams.
Test Design/Execution: Define and implement comprehensive test strategies across multiple products and platforms (Salesforce RCA – Quoting, Contracts; RCB – Billing, Invoicing; Agentforce AI).
Lead and mentor a team of SDETs in both manual and automated testing best practices.
Drive automation-first initiatives, promoting reusability and maintainability of frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate QA status, risks, and issues clearly to engineers, product owners, and business leaders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Quality Advocacy: Champion a quality-first mindset with development, DevOps, and product teams; provide coaching on testing best practices and code quality.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in QA processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize quality and efficiency.
Defect Management: Own the defect lifecycle, from discovery and logging through triage, resolution, and validation—including documenting and reporting test results.
Basic Required Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Software Development in a test-focused capacity.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing (Admin concepts, data model, integrations).
Proficiency in designing and maintaining automation frameworks (preferably with Copado Robotic Testing or similar tools).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing best practices.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
Key Soft Skills:
Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities to guide and upskill QA and SDET team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Commitment to driving a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience applying Generative AI or Machine Learning in test automation or data validation.
Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem testing tools and API integration frameworks.
Prior experience establishing automation CoE (Center of Excellence) or leading large-scale test transformation initiatives.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
