Salesforce Developer

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized

solutions within the Salesforce platform. This includes working with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning

Components, and integrating Salesforce with third-party systems. The developer will collaborate

closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into

scalable, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex,

Visualforce, LWC (Lightning Web Components), and SOQL.

• Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other internal/external

systems via REST/SOAP APIs.

• Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders to understand

requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

• Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including design, development,

testing, and deployment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and defects in a timely manner.

• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices by performing code

reviews and following development standards.

• Assist with deployment and release management in sandbox and production environments.

• Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates, features, and best practices.

Skills & Competencies:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.

• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and Salesforce APIs.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.

• Experience with Salesforce configuration, automation tools (Flows, Process Builder), and

declarative development.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools.
