As an Intermediate Salesforce Developer at Gentrack, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions tailored for Energy and Utilities companies. Your responsibilities will include implementing DevOps best practices, ensuring continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure automation, and system reliability. Your technical expertise in Salesforce Industry Solutions, particularly in Energy & Utilities Cloud, along with DevOps methodologies, will enable you to drive team productivity and streamline operations effectively. Your success in this role will be measured by your effective contribution to product and technical development, active participation in Agile ceremonies and development workflows, reliable and high-quality code contributions validated by peer reviews, smooth and efficient deployments with minimal downtime and quick rollback strategies, positive feedback from technical reviewers, team members, and leadership, successful mentorship and knowledge sharing within the team, implementation of process improvements leading to enhanced productivity and efficiency, and support for initiatives promoting environmental and social responsibility through sustainable practices. Key responsibilities include analyzing customer requests, producing solution artefacts and estimations, conducting peer reviews of solution artefacts, developing, maintaining, deploying, and supporting solutions throughout implementation life cycles, producing relevant documentation for knowledge transfer, participating actively in planning, stand-ups, estimation, retrospectives, and backlog grooming, establishing strong business relationships with customers, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures, highlighting risks and providing resolution recommendations, performing basic network and database tasks, advising customers on the best use of Gentrack products, and working as part of an integrated business team to achieve the best business solutions. Additionally, as an Intermediate Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing version control systems for OmniStudio components, developing and enforcing a Git branching strategy and pull request review guidelines, utilizing Salesforce CLI and OmniStudio Build Tool for component management, establishing CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodeBuild, automating deployment processes, managing environment configurations, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues and enhance deployment practices, designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable Salesforce solutions using various technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem, customizing and configuring Salesforce Industry Clouds, optimizing Salesforce integrations with external applications and APIs, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices, security guidelines, and coding standards, participating in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality software. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of experience in Salesforce development, DevOps, and relevant technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Salesforce certifications, a passion for continuous learning, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in Git, Salesforce CLI, OmniStudio Build Tool, CI/CD tools, and Bash scripting are essential attributes for success in this position.
