Salesforce Architect

• As a Salesforce Architect, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
• The project is a large-scale, two-year program (2026-2027) aimed at transforming the campaign content creation process at one of the largest sportswear manufacturers.
• Currently, the process is highly manual and fragmented, with different business units and markets using disparate approaches. This leads to significant inefficiencies, redundancy, and a lack of alignment.
• The project will streamline this entire workflow, from the initial campaign concept to the final briefing of external agencies.
• This will involve the integration and enhancement of two key systems: the Campaign Portal, which runs on Salesforce Service Cloud and manages all campaign master data, and Asset Portal, which handles all campaign assets.
• The goal is to create a cohesive and efficient ecosystem for content creation, reducing overhead and eliminating duplicate work.

Architecture & Design:

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions, with a focus on integrating Salesforce Service Cloud with other enterprise systems using Java and AWS
• Apply event-driven and microservice architecture patterns to ensure a decoupled and resilient system landscape
• Run Proof of Concepts (POCs) on core project assumptions to validate technical feasibility and architectural direction
• Ensure compliance with architecture governance, documentation standards, and support development teams in implementation and code quality

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements for the campaign creation lifecycle
• Lead whiteboarding sessions and translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications

Data-Centric Development:

• Architect solutions for foundational services involving data streams, master data, and reusable backend capabilities
• Ensure data integrity and lifecycle consistency across the integrated Campaign Portal and Nova systems

Leadership & Mentorship:

• Act as the lead technical authority on the project, guiding developers, reviewing designs, and supporting the team in making critical architectural decisions
• Ensure the teams alignment with Adidas technical standards and delivery methodologies

Experience

• 5+ years in solution architecture design with a proven ability to serve as a Technical Analyst
• 10+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience
• Crucial experience with Salesforce, particularly Service Cloud and its integration capabilities

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in Java, AWS (core services), and event-driven systems
• Strong understanding of system integration patterns, API design, and data modeling
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, messaging systems (Kafka preferred), and storage architecture (SQL/NoSQL)
• Familiarity with the React framework is beneficial

• Experience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery frameworks
• Familiarity with Data Lakes, Elasticsearch, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or advanced AWS credentials

• Ability to ramp up very quickly and operate effectively in a hands-on "executor" capacity from day one
