As an OTC derivatives Sales Trader at Olam Agri, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, and collaborating closely with global teams to offer a diverse range of agricultural products. Your expertise will be instrumental in securing advantageous deals for Olam Agri while nurturing strong client relationships worldwide. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing sales of Agricultural OTC derivatives risk management solutions through various channels such as client visits, seminars, calls, and follow-ups. You will represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and seminars to enhance its reputation and network within the financial community. Building enduring client relationships, understanding their requirements, and delivering exceptional service will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in providing complex risk management hedging solutions and collaborating with colleagues for seamless trade execution. Moreover, you will be tasked with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, growing the client base, and staying updated on market dynamics by reading market reports. Maintaining industry relationships, liaising with colleagues in different geographies, and offering valuable insights to clients based on market trends will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, business management, economics, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management solutions sales, preferably in the European region, is required. You should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Olam Agri's Risk Management Solutions focus on managing price risks associated with agricultural commodities by leveraging our understanding of physical networks and risk.
