Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team in the rapidly growing market of solar-powered electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating sales, building relationships with customers, and promoting our solar EV charger products and services. You will be at the forefront of the transition to clean energy, helping customers adopt sustainable EV charging solutions powered by solar energy.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy, have a deep understanding of solar technology and electric vehicles, and possess strong sales skills to engage with both residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote solar-powered EV chargers to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
  • Identify and target key markets, including homeowners, businesses, and EV infrastructure developers.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs, maintaining a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to help clients understand the benefits of solar EV charging solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up to ensure client satisfaction post-sale.

Product Knowledge & Education:

  • Stay informed on the latest developments in solar EV charging technologies, industry trends, and government incentives.
  • Educate customers on the environmental, economic, and long-term benefits of switching to solar-powered EV chargers.
  • Be an expert in the company’s solar EV charger products, including features, benefits, and installation processes.

Sales Support & Coordination:

  • Work closely with the technical and project management teams to ensure smooth product delivery and installation.
  • Assist with preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts for clients.
  • Coordinate with external partners (e.g., contractors, energy consultants) for integrated solutions.

Market Research:

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor products to adjust sales strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector and develop strategies to expand the customer base.

Reporting & Feedback:

  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales progress, forecasts, and market insights.
  • Use CRM tools to track customer interactions and sales pipeline.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field. (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in renewable energy, electric vehicle infrastructure, or solar energy solutions.
  • Experience selling EV charging equipment or solar systems is highly desirable.
  • A strong network within the clean energy, automotive, or construction sectors is a plus.

Sales Skills:

  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales processes, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with solar energy systems, EV chargers, and related technologies is highly advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of energy storage solutions (e.g., batteries) and the integration of solar power with electric vehicles.

Soft Skills:

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Certifications (Optional but advantageous):

  • Certification in sales (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, or related certifications).
  • Knowledge of EV charging standards (e.g., EVSE) and solar certifications (e.g., NABCEP) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
