Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities across assigned regions and target markets.
Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers, distributors, agents, and direct clients.
Develop and implement customer-specific marketing strategies in coordination with internal teams.
Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, competitor activities, and regional market trends.
Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, client acquisition, negotiations, order closure, payment realisation, and post-sales support.
Represent the organization at trade shows, exhibitions, expos, and business development visits.
Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and compliant product delivery.
Monitor sales performance, track key business metrics, and prepare sales forecasts and reports.
Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, statutory requirements, and international trade regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth sales operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Commerce.
Postgraduate qualification in Business, Marketing or International Trade preferred.
25 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Development.
Experience in B2B sales, distributor management, channel sales or industrial sales.
Candidates from Cable & Wire, Electrical, Telecom, Electronics or Manufacturing industries preferred.
Knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation and international payment methods will be an advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
