Role Overview: As a Purchase Manager with 10-15 years of experience in vendor development, procurement, and strategic sourcing, your primary focus will be managing vendor relationships, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services. Your expertise in imports, data analysis, budgeting, and mechanical parts development will be crucial in driving success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage vendor relationships to facilitate the timely procurement of materials and services. - Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines. - Handle import-related purchasing activities while ensuring compliance with global regulations. - Conduct regular vendor assessments, reconciliation, and performance evaluations. - Negotiate vendor contracts, terms, and pricing to mitigate risks effectively. - Analyze purchasing data to generate actionable insights for informed decision-making. - Prepare and manage budgets aligned with business goals. - Oversee the development and procurement of mechanical components. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, finance, and production. - Stay updated on market trends, cost structures, and sourcing strategies. - Create impactful presentations for stakeholders using PowerPoint. - Interpret and work with 2D & 3D technical drawings for part development. - Utilize BI tools to monitor purchasing KPIs and vendor performance metrics. - Thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure. - Demonstrate strong business acumen and proactive problem-solving skills.
