Sales Manager - IT & Cyber Security

As a Sales Manager at our company in Chennai, you will be responsible for driving sales of cybersecurity products and services. Your role will involve developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing the sales pipeline, understanding client needs, proposing appropriate solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and maintaining client relationships. You will also work closely with internal technical teams, deliver sales forecasts, reports, and insights, and travel as required for client meetings and events. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic sales plans for cybersecurity products and services. - Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure. - Understand client needs and propose the right mix of solutions (Penetration Testing, SOC, SIEM, endpoint security, cloud security, etc.). - Prepare proposals, lead negotiations, and close contracts. - Maintain strong client relationships and drive long-term business value. - Work closely with internal technical teams to align solutions with customer requirements. - Deliver regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance insights to leadership. - Travel as required for client meetings, presentations, and events. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity sales/business development. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Deep understanding of cybersecurity industry trends and solutions. - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (Masters is a plus). - Ability to work independently and drive results. - Proficient in CRM tools and sales reporting.
