Job Description

The Sales Head will lead and manage the ensure sales and business development function for

Bitumen, Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB), Bitumen Emulsion, and Gabion Systems. The

role involves developing strategic sales plans, expanding market presence, driving revenue

growth, and managing key customer relationships while ensuring alignment with company

objectives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

• Develop and implement sales strategies for Bitumen, PMB, Emulsion, and Gabion

systems to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

• Identify new business opportunities across infrastructure, road construction, and

engineering sectors.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, government

departments (PWD, NHAI, etc.), and infrastructure companies.

• Lead tendering, pricing, and negotiation processes to secure new projects and

clients.

• Achieve growth targets across multiple regions and product lines.

2. Market Expansion & Strategy

• Conduct detailed market analysis and competitor mapping for each product vertical.

• Identify emerging trends and customer needs to recommend new product

development or modifications.

• Develop strategic partnerships and distribution networks across India.

• Represent the company at trade fairs, industry conferences, and government liaison

meetings.

3. Team Leadership & Management

• Build, train, and manage a high-performing sales team across regions.

• Set clear performance targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure timely reporting.

• Foster a results-driven culture emphasizing accountability and customer satisfaction.

4. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance departments for smooth order

execution.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports with analysis of performance vs.

targets.

• Collaborate with the technical team for product trials, demos, and client

presentations.

5. Customer Relationship Management

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and

problem resolution.

• Manage key accounts and long-term contracts with government and private clients.

• Oversee aer-sales support, complaint handling, and feedback analysis.

Qualificaons & Experience:

• Educaon:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or

equivalent.

  • MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in industrial or construction material

sales.

  • Proven track record in Bitumen, Polymer-Modified Bitumen, Emulsion, or

Gabion systems industry.

  • Strong understanding of road infrastructure projects, tendering process, and

government liaison.

• Skills Required:

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Strong client network in infrastructure and construction sectors.

  • Ability to formulate and execute business growth strategies.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales analytics.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across India.
