Role Description

The Sales Executive role at XGDS is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. In this role, the Sales Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, and promote XGDS delivery and logistics services to meet revenue targets. Daily activities include conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating pricing and terms within company guidelines, and following up on leads generated through various channels. The Sales Executive will also monitor market trends and competitor activities, provide feedback to management on customer needs, and collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new accounts. Accurate reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics is expected, along with adherence to company policies and ethical sales practices.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals in B2B or logistics-related environments.
• Customer relationship management abilities, with experience in account management, client communication, and handling customer inquiries and concerns.
• Solid communication and negotiation skills, with the capacity to deliver clear presentations, draft professional proposals, and negotiate terms effectively.
• Basic understanding of logistics, courier, or transportation services, or willingness to quickly learn industry concepts and service offerings.
• Proficiency in using common office and CRM tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, sales tracking systems) to manage pipelines and reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage time effectively, and operate both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Relevant educational background such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, along with prior sales experience.
• Comfort working in a target-driven environment, with a results-oriented approach, ethical conduct, and openness to ongoing training and development.
