Roles of a Sales Executive (Manufacturing Sector)

• Act as the link between the manufacturing company and potential/current clients.
• Promote and sell manufactured products to wholesalers, distributors, or direct customers.
• Identify new business opportunities in the market.
• Ensure sales targets and revenue goals are achieved.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Client Management
• Present, promote, and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements in alignment with company policies.
• Maintain strong after-sales support and handle client queries.
• Market Research & Strategy
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Suggest strategies to improve sales and increase market share.
• Work closely with the marketing team to plan promotional campaigns.
• Coordination with Internal Teams
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Share customer feedback with the manufacturing team for product improvement.
• Monitor stock availability and plan accordingly.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and payments.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management review.
• Track progress against targets and KPIs.
• Targets & Performance
• Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
• Contribute to revenue growth and business expansion.
