Job Description

Sales Account Manager Smart Factory Solutions

Location:

  • Prospect and Generate Leads:

    Identify and target potential clients in manufacturing industries, leveraging market research, networking, and lead-generation tools to build a robust pipeline.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business challenges and aligning solutions to their needs.
  • Solution Selling:

    Present and demonstrate smart factory solutions (e.g., IoT platforms, predictive maintenance tools, and automation systems) to clients, articulating value propositions and ROI.
  • Consultative Sales Approach:

    Collaborate with clients to assess their manufacturing processes, identify pain points, and propose customized solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
  • Negotiation and Closing:

    Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while meeting sales targets and quotas.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with product, engineering, and implementation teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and client satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in smart factory technologies to position our solutions effectively.
  • Forecasting and Reporting:

    Maintain accurate sales forecasts, track activities in CRM systems, and provide regular reports on pipeline status and sales performance.
  • Customer Success:

    Support post-sale activities, ensuring clients achieve desired outcomes and fostering opportunities for upselling and renewals.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technology, automation, or industrial software solutions.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
    • Experience selling to manufacturing or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of smart factory concepts, including IoT, automation, and data analytics.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
    • Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
