Role & responsibilities Manage complete payroll & salary disbursement through ERP with 100% accuracy. Ensure statutory compliance with the Wages Act, Mines Act, Factory Act, DGMS, EPF, CMPF, and other labour laws. Oversee industrial relations, liaise with government authorities, and resolve labour disputes. Drive training & development induction, safety, and skill enhancement programs. Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives. This position requires a seasoned HR professional to be based in a remote area, demanding self-sufficiency in managing all site-level human resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, and proactively maintaining high employee morale and welfare in a challenging, isolated environment. Preferred candidate profile MBA/PGDM in HR Management or equivalent. Age not exceeding 38 years. 8-12 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the mining industry. Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll management, ERP systems, and labour laws. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation & conflict resolution skills. Role & responsibilities Maintain and monitor books of accounts at the site level, ensuring accuracy of daily transactions. Ensure timely GST & TDS deductions, filings, and compliance records. Coordinate with the HOD for vendor and contractor payments and employee reimbursements. Prepare and submit MIS reports, expenditure statements, and site-level financial updates to the head office. Support internal and external audits with reconciliations and documentation. Conduct regular bank and vendor reconciliations to ensure zero discrepancies. Assist in preparing budgets, track cost variances, and report deviations. Liaise with operations, stores, HR, and finance teams for smooth financial processes. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, ERP processes, and financial discipline at the site. Working location to be a remote area, requiring independent and reliable financial management in a challenging environment. Preferred candidate profile B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification. Age not exceeding 38 years. 10-12 years of finance & accounts experience, with preference for mining. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, vendor management, and ERP accounting. Proficiency in financial reporting, audits, and compliance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Accurate and timely reporting of site accounts. Zero non-compliance with statutory requirements. On-time vendor and contractor payments.
