Safety Supervisor - Internal Vehicle Movement Slag Shifting (Male)

We are a transportation company having presence all over India, Currently we require a individual at our Pen (Dolvi) location for the post of Safety Supervisor. Job Summary: The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety protocols related to internal vehicle movement, specifically for slag shifting operations within the plant premises. The role ensures that all activities comply with internal safety standards, statutory regulations, and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and supervise the movement of slag shifting vehicles (e.g., loaders, tippers) inside the plant premises. Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines by vehicle operators and ground personnel. Conduct daily safety checks and toolbox talks for drivers and operators before shift start. Inspect vehicle conditions (lights, brakes, reverse horns, seat belts) and ensure compliance before deployment. Implement and maintain one-way traffic systems, proper signaling, and speed control measures. Ensure all vehicles follow designated slag shifting routes and dumping protocols. Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions or behaviors; take corrective actions immediately. Coordinate with plant operations, logistics, and safety teams for safe movement planning. Maintain records of vehicle entry/exit, incidents, near-misses, and routine inspections. Provide safety training and refresher sessions to drivers and workers as needed. Investigate any vehicle-related incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective/preventive measures.
