Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer at RANK-Project and Development Pvt Ltd in Alibag, Maharashtra, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of hospital projects. With over 10 years of experience and at least 4 years specifically in handling hospital projects, you will be responsible for various key duties: - **Risk Assessment & Mitigation** - Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards. - Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. - Ensure proper safety precautions are in place before work begins. - **Compliance & Regulatory Adherence** - Maintain knowledge of all safety regulations applicable to the construction industry. - Ensure safety policies and procedures comply with regulatory requirements. - Coordinate with regulatory bodies during safety audits and inspections. - **Safety Training & Development** - Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees and contractors. - Organize toolbox talks and training sessions to promote safety awareness. - Maintain records of safety training and certifications for all personnel. - **Incident & Accident Investigation** - Investigate safety-related incidents, accidents, and near-misses. - Prepare detailed reports, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions. - Report all incidents and accidents to management and authorities as required. - **Documentation & Reporting** - Keep accurate records of safety activities, audits, and incident reports. - Prepare and submit monthly safety reports to management. - Ensure proper documentation of permits, risk assessments, and safety inspections. - **Emergency Response Planning** - Assist in developing and updating emergency response and evacuation plans. - Conduct drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies. - Coordinate with emergency response teams for prompt action during emergencies. - **Promote Safety Culture** - Foster a safety-conscious environment among employees and contractors. - Implement safety incentive programs to encourage safe practices. - Act as a point of contact for safety-related issues and promote proactive safety measures. **Qualifications and Requirements:** - Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. - Certifications: NEBOSH Certification or equivalent safety certifications. - Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in a safety role within Hospital Projects. - Skills: Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, excellent communication and training skills, ability to conduct risk assessments, proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
