Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Safety Officer to join our team at our chemical plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors. This will involve implementing and enforcing safety policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.

1.Experience in HSE management systems
2. Familiarity with chemical plant operations, process safety management.3. Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis including process safety management.4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.7. Strong leadership and influencing skills.8. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects. Compile safety programs.9. Practice safe working techniques.10. Implement and maintain health and safety standards.12. Identity the unsafe act and unsafe conditions.13. Ensure the work permit systems.14. Conduct the trainings and mock drills and maintain the records.15. Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.16. Conduct the TBT of workers and employees.17. Standardize health and safety in order to remain consistent.18. Promote safety initiatives.19. Compile and maintain relevant registers.20. To take daily plant rounds.
