Safety Engineer

As a Safety Engineer at Jacobs, you will be responsible for project delivery, design management, and project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. Collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders, you will create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate various projects. Your impact is crucial in ensuring the safe implementation of construction activities within specified parameters. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will allocate work and responsibilities to assigned subordinate staff. It is your responsibility to study, assess, and comment on Contractors" Resources for maintaining site safety and adequacy in executing awarded jobs according to safe practices. You will conduct safety meetings regularly with Jacobs staff, Contractors, and Clients, ensuring that all stipulated safety norms are strictly observed. Establishing various safety records, reports, and site documentation, you will ensure proper maintenance with the help of subordinate staff. Your role also involves assisting Site Manager/Commissioning Engineers in carrying out pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in a safe and effective manner. You will be in charge of all safety activities at the project site, maintaining safety standards while executing construction work as per the Project Execution Plan. Qualifications: - Qualification: BE + AIDS/ PGDIS - Experience: 2 to 5 years for BE, 4-7 years for Diploma, 8-11 years for HSE+ safety Qualification (ADIS/ PGDIS) - Location: Sites (Anywhere in India) - Position: Contract-based At Jacobs, we value collaboration and believe in the importance of in-person interactions for our culture and client delivery.
