SaaS Solutions Tech Lead

As a Solutions Lead Developer for an E-commerce Marketplace, your role involves owning and implementing technical architecture, platform scalability, and security. You will act as the bridge between business vision and technical execution, requiring you to be a leader and self-contributor. Key Responsibilities: - Provide leadership in startup/SaaS/marketplace environments. - Define and develop platform architecture using technologies such as Laravel, Redis, S3, Stripe, and SES. - Implement coding standards, GitHub policies, and CI/CD pipelines. - Develop APIs for n8n workflows and integrations. - Ensure observability, monitoring, and cloud cost optimization. - Collaborate with vendor Dev team and guide DevOps to achieve project goals. - Utilize your 6+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture. - Demonstrate a strong background in Laravel and microservices. - Have experience with the AWS stack, Stripe Connect, and CI/CD practices. - Focus on delivering secure, scalable, and testable code. - Document workflows and escalate technical issues when necessary. - Ensure operational SLAs are consistently met. Qualifications: - Possess at least 5 years of experience in PHP Laravel development. - Proficient in integrating APIs, Redis, S3, and Stripe. - Demonstrated experience in leading in-house and outsourced teams effectively. Additional Details: The company utilizes various technologies and tools, including: - Infra/Hosting: DigitalOcean/Hetzner or Laravel Forge for click-provision and deploy. - DB/Cache/Queue: MySQL 8 or Postgres 15, Redis for cache/queues, and Laravel Horizon for queue monitoring. - Object Storage: S3 or Cloudflare R2 (with CDN support). - CI/CD: Leveraging GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes and enabling zero-downtime deploys via Forge or Deployer. - Automation Orchestrator: Utilize n8n as a self-hosted automation orchestrator. - Crash, Logs, Uptime: Utilize Sentry (free tier), Better Uptime or Uptime Kuma (self-hosted), and a basic log shipper (Vector) to Logtail for monitoring. - Analytics: Implement Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics and Metabase on DB replica for product and finance dashboards.,
