Ruby on Rails Developer - Night Shift

As a software engineer at Nomiso, your role involves designing and developing new or modifying existing web applications/APIs. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs, as well as writing and maintaining reliable Ruby / Rails code. Integration with data storage solutions such as databases, file storage, or object storage is also part of your key responsibilities. Additionally, creating services using microservices architecture and Dockerizing the application / service will be essential tasks. You will be expected to identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs, integrate user-facing elements from the front-end team, and connect applications with other internal or third-party systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop web applications/APIs - Maintain and troubleshoot web applications and APIs - Write and maintain reliable Ruby / Rails code - Integrate with data storage solutions - Create services using microservices architecture - Dockerize the application / service - Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs - Integrate user-facing elements - Connect applications with internal or third-party systems Qualifications Required: - Over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails - Proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken for background job processing - Solid knowledge in React and Typescript for frontend development - Familiarity with AWS, specifically SQS (Simple Queue Service) - BE/B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field At Nomiso, we are a product and services engineering company that values entrepreneurial spirit, continuous learning, and growth opportunities.
