Aziro (Formerly known as MSys Technologies) Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of full-stack web development using Ruby on Rails and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code. You will work on building scalable web applications, integrating APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness Integrate data storage solutions including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases Implement and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs Write unit and integration tests to ensure quality and performance Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies Required Skills: 6+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) Proficiency with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Stimulus/React is a plus) Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque, etc.) Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, etc.) Excellent debugging and optimization skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GraphQL and modern JavaScript frameworks Understanding of Agile development practices Exposure to microservices and service-oriented architectures Good communication and interpersonal skills Perks & Benefits: Competitive salary Remote work flexibility Health insurance Learning & development opportunities Collaborative work environment
