RTL Design Engineer (Peripherals) - Sr Engineer

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, and various other hardware components to launch cutting-edge products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements. Your duties and responsibilities will include: - Leveraging your hardware knowledge and experience to plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, circuits, and mechanical systems. - Integrating features and functionality into hardware designs in line with proposals or roadmaps. - Conducting complex simulations and analyses of designs to ensure optimal power, performance, and area. - Collaborating with various teams to implement new requirements and incorporate the latest test solutions to improve yield, test time, and quality. - Evaluating and developing manufacturing solutions for leading-edge products and ensuring they meet customer expectations and schedules. - Identifying potential flaws, compatibility issues, and compliance issues in complex design features. - Writing detailed technical documentation for hardware projects. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of hardware engineering experience, OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, OR PhD with 1+ year of experience. - Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree with 5+ years of hardware engineering experience, 2+ years of circuit design experience, 2+ years of experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation software, 2+ years of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments, and 1+ year in a technical leadership role. You will work independently with minimal supervision, provide guidance to other team members, and your decision-making may affect work beyond your immediate work group. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively are essential for this role.
