About Retail Portfolio Management Group
The Retail Portfolio Management Group (RPMG) plays a strategic role in managing the bank's retail receivables, with a sharp focus on loss containment, cost efficiency, and portfolio sustainability. Through advanced analytics, technology-driven processes, and close collaboration with Credit, Risk, and Product teams, RPMG ensures risk-calibrated policy execution.RPMG engages delinquent customers with multiple repayment solutions and financial counseling, promoting responsible credit behavior and long-term financial health. This approach aligns with the bank's overarching Growth, Profitability, and Sustainability (GPS) strategy, positioning RPMG as a key contributor to operational resilience and financial performance

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
To lead and manage the Agri Loans collections portfolio across multiple delinquency buckets within a defined region. The role involves strategic vendor management, resolution of overdue accounts, compliance with audit and legal standards, and driving performance across teams to meet recovery and NPA targets.Portfolio & Bucket Management.Achieve resolution targets as per business requirements across 30+ DPD, 90+ DPD, and 180+ DPD buckets..Minimize forward flow to subsequent delinquency buckets through proactive interventions..Monitor and manage gross slippages and ensure inventory is aligned with resolution benchmarks.Vendor & Staff Oversight.Manage outsourced vendors and field staff to ensure monthly resolution targets are met..Conduct timely allocation of accounts, confirm billing, and ensure regular customer visits..Create a performance-driven environment to enhance motivation and productivity.Recovery & NPA Management.Drive monthly recovery targets for rural portfolios..Monitor Net NPA performance and ensure upgrades/recoveries are in line with monthly goals..Oversee legal filings, coverage, and execution for recovery cases.Compliance & Process Adherence.Ensure strict adherence to bank processes and audit requirements..Address audit observations and implement corrective actions..Maintain documentation and MIS as per regulatory and internal standards.Training & Capability Building.Ensure all staff are trained on Agri Loan products, bank policies, and collection processes..Promote continuous learning and development across the team.

Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:.Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture, Finance, or related field..7-12 years of experience in collections, with a focus on Agri or rural lending portfolios..Proven track record in managing vendors and achieving recovery targets.

For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following:.Strong leadership and team management skills..Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities..Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel and collection systems..Knowledge of legal recovery processes and compliance frameworks.
