Role Overview The Sponsorship & Partnerships Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing sponsorships for IndiaJoy, while building long-term industry partnerships that enhance the festival’s value. The role requires a blend of business development, relationship management, and market mapping to create impactful opportunities. Key Responsibilities / Scope of Work Sponsorship Acquisition & Strategy Develop a sponsorship acquisition strategy aligned with IndiaJoy’s positioning and growth goals. Source, pitch, and close sponsorship deals with corporates, brands, and institutions across diverse industries (creative technology, real estate, infrastructure, finance, lifestyle, consumer goods, etc.). Design tiered sponsorship packages and tailor them to suit potential partners’ brand objectives. Market Research & Opportunity Mapping Conduct market scans to identify sectors and brands with strong alignment to the creator economy and digital entertainment ecosystem. Map and approach emerging industries (AI, Web3, fintech, telecom, OTT, realestate, etc.) for sponsorship and collaboration opportunities. Stay updated on sponsorship trends and competitor benchmarks in large-scale events. Partnership Development & Synergy Building Forge partnerships with corporates, associations, industry bodies, and government entities to create mutually beneficial synergies. Drive cross-sector partnerships (e.g., commercial real estate with gaming zones, telecom with OTT, fintech with creator economy). Nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers. Sales & Negotiation Develop compelling pitches and proposals showcasing IndiaJoy’s value proposition. Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements ensuring optimal value for both IndiaJoy and sponsors. Achieve defined sponsorship revenue targets. Sponsorship Management & Delivery Act as the single point of contact for sponsors before, during, and after the event. Ensure all sponsorship commitments are delivered (branding, activations, speaking slots, networking opportunities, etc.). Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, creative) to ensure sponsor visibility and satisfaction. Reporting & Performance Tracking Maintain a sponsorship pipeline and track progress against targets. Prepare regular reports on sponsorship status, revenue projections, and partner engagement. Provide insights on ROI and impact for sponsors post-event. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 0–8 years of experience in sponsorship sales, corporate partnerships, or business development (preferably in events, media, technology, or allied industries). Proven track record of closing sponsorship deals and achieving sales targets. Skills: Strong network across corporates, industry bodies, and relevant sectors. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to conceptualize sponsorship packages that resonate with diverse industries. Market intelligence and ability to spot cross-industry opportunities. Entrepreneurial mindset, self-driven, and result-oriented. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
