About the Role

MARS Exploration is inviting engineering students to join our Rocket Propulsion Internship Program designed to provide hands-on exposure to rocket engines, thrust systems, propellants, and propulsion simulation tools.

This program is aligned with NEP-2020 and supports academic credit transfer as per university norms.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of propulsion, thrust generation & nozzle design
• Study solid, liquid, hybrid & electric propulsion systems
• Perform basic thrust & Isp calculations
• Simulation basics using OpenRocket / NASA CEA
• Complete Task and weekly assignments

• Advanced combustion, turbopumps, injectors & cooling mechanisms
• Perform propulsion simulations and mission modelling
• Use NASA CEA, Matlab/Python, OpenRocket
• Research methodology & technical paper writing
• Complete one major project + final presentation

Who Can Apply?

• B.E / B.Tech / Diploma students from Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related fields
• Strong interest in rockets, propulsion, robotics, or space systems
• No previous aerospace experience required
