Robotics Trainer

The Robotics Trainer is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging robotics and STEM lessons for students. This includes teaching fundamental and advanced concepts of robotics, programming, and electronics, using educational tools such as LEGO Mindstorms, Arduino, VEX Robotics, or similar platforms. The trainer also mentors students in competitions and fosters a passion for innovation and technology. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement curriculum-aligned robotics lessons and activities. Teach students how to design, build, and program robots. Guide students in using platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LEGO, VEX, or similar. Organize and supervise robotics clubs and student participation in robotics competitions. Ensure safety in the use of robotics tools and equipment. Maintain and troubleshoot robotics kits, computers, and related technologies. Collaborate with other STEM faculty to integrate robotics into broader learning goals. Track student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school administrators. Stay updated on trends and advancements in robotics education. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification or training experience preferred. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Scratch. Experience with educational robotics platforms. Strong communication and organizational skills. Passion for teaching and mentoring students in technology and innovation. Preferred Skills: Experience preparing students for robotics competitions (e.g., FIRST, WRO, FLL). Knowledge of 3D printing, sensors, and microcontrollers. Creative problem-solving and project-based learning experience.
